Our Mission

We are the Delaney family, called by God to be missionaries to South Korea. It is our goal to start a church in South Korea where the Bible truth is preached and people can grow as Christians.

Our purpose is very simple: we want everyone we meet both here and there to know the message of the gospel. It is by the gospel message that we can know that we are going to Heaven. First John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye many know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” It is the perfect will of God for every person to know that they have eternal life in Heaven.

            What You Need to Know:

1.    Everyone Is a Sinner

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” No one can honestly say that they have never sinned or done wrong. Every person, no matter how great, has come short of God’s standard of perfection because of their sin. No amount of good works can take us to Heaven. Romans 3:28 states, “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”

2.    Our Penalty for Sin Is Death in Hell

Our breaking of God’s law demands a penalty which Romans 6:23 states is death in Hell: “For the wages of sin is death”. There are two destinations for people after death. There is the perfect place called Heaven, and the Lake of Fire called Hell. Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”

3.    Jesus Died for You

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Because of God’s great love for us, He sent His son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sin so that you would not have to suffer forever in Hell. He paid the penalty for the sin of the whole world so that we could have forgiveness from the penalty and be cleansed of our wrongdoing. Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

4.    He Wants to Be Your Saviour

Your sin-debt has been paid for, but the Bible teaches that you must personally accept His free-gift of salvation. You must believe that Jesus died for your sins and accept Him as your personal Saviour. Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

What Do I Need to Do to Be Saved?

  1. Admit that you are a sinner.

  2. Recognize that the judgement of sin is death in Hell.

  3. Believe that Jesus died to forgive you of your sin.

  4. Accept Him as your Saviour by asking Him to save you.

We would love to hear if you have made this decision to accept Jesus as your Saviour! If you have done so, we would love to know about it. Please email me at delaneys2korea@gmail.com or text me at (309) 838-1094 about your decision.
